Ramen in Singapore

Went to 2 Ramen outlets during my previous trip to the lion state.
The first one is called AOBA - Hokkaido Ramen

AOBA has nice and authentic Japanese interior deco

I made high expectation on their food based on their deco

The first missile struck me ... Its appetizer was very plain, lack of salt

Second missile follow suit ..

Its signature ramen turn out to be having too much salts @#$%^&*

I went to another ramen outlet few days later

It's called Ippudo located at the 4th floor of Mandarin Gallery, Orchard Road

The moment you walked in, you can feel their staff are really enjoying working with Ippudo

They serve one of the best ramen I ever tried, even though in smaller serving, will go for its spicy ramen next trip

Its lotus root also super good, taste slightly better than French fries

Its green tea made me fly ...

Remember, 4th floor of Mandarin Gallery, Ippudo, another heaven on earth !!

MOS Burgers

I first came to know MOS Burger about 10 years back in Singapore

Its rice burger is special

After more than 10 years, its overall size decreased and its quality also drop.

Rice Vege Burger

Will try its Wagyu Burger in next visit

Only $5.90, what a deal !!

Singapore's Best Gelato : Gelatissimo

I notice another gelato brand at The Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur. It's called Gelatomio

Its display with 2 very friendly staffs

Tried 3 flavors : Mixed berries, Strawberries, and Orange. I still prefer Gelatissimo ..

Views around Clarke Quay, Singapore

My favourite outlet Highlander is in Clarke Quay with very lively live band

Italian food @ Somerset, Singapore

There is one Italian restaurant near Somerset MRT, Singapore with nice interior settings.

Initially I thought the food must be very good with the crowd they have during dinners. But it turns out to be kns ...

Calamansi juice : so so

Wild mushroom soup : even though big portion but very so so

Aglio Olio : Super duper so so

A big let down after a high expectation :(

Some dishes at Kirishima, Penang

Went to Kirishima, Penang with a friend, and notice that they have changed their menu since my last visit few years back ..
Snap some shots on some of the dishes ordered.
The rolls are quite ok, its wasabi is really impressive. Those actors or actresses who need real tears should always drop by Kirishima, instant impact guaranteed !!

It also serves one of the best gyoza in Penang

I like its Wagyu beef as well, but far too little for me, just few pieces per serving.

Look, this is my star of the evening, the best at Kirishima, can't recall its name (not shown on receipt) but you can find its photo on the menu.
