5 must visit places in Kuching

1) Semenggoh Wildlife Centre

Orang Utan coming out after some Tarzan styled screaming from a staff in the centre.

2) Guan Angin Bau

A horizontal cave whereby you can find lots of bats but can't find your own finger while being inside. There are people saying that if a group of 10 people went into the cave and came out with 11 people, the group need to re-enter the cave and make sure only 10 original people came out at the end of the day.

3) Fairy Cave
A vertical cave that tests your stamina level while climbing up to the top and you can find sunlight and plants along the way.

4) Sarawak Cultural Village

It's like the Window of The World in Shenzhen, China. You are able to find people and houses of Iban, Bidayuh, Melanau, Ulu, etc. in this all-in-one tourism village.

5) Taman Negara Bako
Not many people are aware of this national park which is surrounded by crystal clear sea water and beautiful bays and coastal line.

One of the highlights in this park is its magnificent rock formations. These formations make me recall the 12 Apostles along Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia.
