Satar

Spotted a road side stall selling Satar (Otak Ikan). Its bizness hours is from 4pm-7.30pm, a mere 3.5 hours.

Satar is prepared using bbq+satay style 'oven'.

Its taste is different from the otak-otak found in Penang. It's a bit bit sweety plus some 'santan' (coconut milk) flavour, but definitely yummy than ketupat.

Ordered a cup of soy milk from these two Kelante Chinese youngsters beside the Satar stall. Tell you wat, they speak perfect Kelante slang Bahasa Melayu, really canggih.

from Ku Li

Tengku Razaleigh said the coalition's by-election campaign, which was criticised for its racial overtones and focus on sodomy allegations against Anwar, has "embarrassed and divided the nation with its ugliness."

"It is time to face the music: it is we who have been buried," he said.

Tiger Woods in Kelante ?

Hidden Dragon Crouching Tiger, even in Kelante ...

Digi in Kelante

The yellow fatty Digi boy is missing in Kelante, but represented by his buddy who is one of the wayang kulit characters. Due to time constraint, not manage to find out the name of the character.

Instead of kadar rendah, it's called kadar molek

and the molek posters and billboards are everywhere in Kota Bharu.

Food Stall in Kelantan

This is Kelantan ...

This is bbq chicken (ayam bakar) at a Malay food stall, better taste than Ayamas.

This is called BBQ steak (daging bakar), which shares some similarity with the seuw bak.

This soup is for decorative purposes only, it can't beat the soup from Pelita.

Haa ... this is quite interesting ...
I ordered a limau ais drink, but the waitress stared at me in a puzzled look.

Luckily one of my friends helping me out by rephrase it as "Singa Peng" which comes from Hokkien words - Sui Kam Peng.

And from there onwards, I kept ordering Singa Peng during my stay in Kelante to avoid being STARED by female, again .. (:

Ah Keat Seafood

Ah Keat seafood at Bagan, Butterworth (Penang).

Australian Abalone, one piece RM30, one dozen should be less than RM360. To me, the shape of the abalone is explicitly interesting.

Geoduck, RM 118 per kg, suitable for those who wanna prosper everyday.

Alaskan Crab (translated as 'Spider Crab' in Chinese), RM228 per kg, good for those who wanna prosper easily.

Snow Crab, 100g selling at RM23, sounds like yee sang in Cantonese, might be nice for those who wanna have fairer and smoother skin.

High Fin Grouper, RM35 per 100g. Translated as Mouse Spot grouper in Chinese. Its enemy should be non other than the catfish. Tom and Jerry version in the water huhhh ...

This restaurant looks like a mini aquarium ...

but a proper aquarium don't show price tags.

Guess what, the Chief Minister of Penang also attracted by the varieties of seafood at Ah Keat restaurant. No wonder YAB Lim Guan Eng looks quite 'keat'. Maybe Tan Sri Koh Tsu Koon should also dine in more often, to be more 'keat' in 5 years time.

A car used by Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim for his by-election campaign vs a car for a boy's childhood.

Both number plates start with numeric "6" and have 4 tyres.

One can accommodate 5 passengers while another one is just a single sitter.

Khairy: We've come to 'bury' Anwar

Barisan Nasional will not only defeat Anwar Ibrahim in the Aug 26 Permatang Pauh by-election, the ruling coalition will also bury his political career.
