Pomi-T

Pomi-T® is rich in plant polyphenols and phytochemicals found naturally within four whole foods.
Diets rich in polyphenols, the natural plant-based phytochemicals found in healthy foods, have been linked with lower risks of chronic illnesses such as dementia, high cholesterol, arthritis, heart disease, skin ageing and macular degeneration.
Well-conducted population studies have also linked their regular intake with lower risks of many cancers including breast, pancreatic, oesophageal, ovarian, prostate, and skin cancer.
The anti-cancer effects of polyphenols, however, do not stop after a diagnosis of cancer. Breast cancer survivors eating polyphenol-rich fruit, vegetables, soy and green tea were found to have lower relapse rates.
Individuals with skin cancer, who had a high intake of leafy green vegetables and broccoli, had lower rates of new cancer formation. A healthy lifestyle including a polyphenol rich diet has been linked to a slower rate of PSA progression amoung men with indolent prostate cancer.

Tips / Advices on casino gaming in Malaysia

There is one and only casino in Malaysia which is at Genting Highland. Malaysian goes to Genting Highland for a few reasons : enjoy cool weather and theme park facilities with friends and family, catch a concert by Hong Kong / Taiwan / Korean / Western artists,  catch a magical performance / variety show, attend a MICE (Meeting, Incentives, Conference, Exhibition) event,   or try his/her luck in a casino game.
Those who thought he / she can make a life time fortune from a casino game have a perception that the odd is always in favor of the player. But in reality, it proves to be the opposite. For example, in a particular casino game, if the payout under an actuarial calculation is 50x, the real payout from a casino might be only 20x. If you bet RM20, the winning should be RM1,000, but you only get RM400. A typical gamer would not be satisfied with RM400 and the longer a person stays and plays, the higher the chance to lose all the RM400 plus initial capital.
Strategy for those who has friends / relatives addicted to casino games :
1. Ask them to jot down all the winnings / losing inside a spreadsheet or paper notes, over a period of say 6 months. With this strategy, they can assess their performance and decide whether it’s worthwhile to continue this casino venture. If 6 months is too short, then go for 12 months. The moment a person tracks his/her casino spending over a period of time, he or she will definitely realize or enlightened that the odd is always against them, and the monetary risks is huge cumulatively. So why obsessed with a disadvantaged game ?
2. Always treat casino games as a pure leisure, not a short-cut to gain life time fortune.  Casino winning is not productive as it merely involves transfer of money from one pocket to another. Money that comes with ease, goes with ease. Those who has casino winning experience agrees with this viewpoint, as money tends to be spend away easily.
3. Use excess money to pick up personal skills and with that, a person can earn continuous income in the whole life time.
Apart from monetary risks, there are also health risks associated with 2nd hand smoke. Diseases shortened one’s life and forego future good moment with family members. Medical bills for diseases linked to heart and cancerous cells can easily ballooned to RM100k-RM300k, and there goes life long savings.

Guideline on Malaysia Passport renewal / application in Johor Bahru

For Malaysian working in Singapore and wish to renew current passport within a day, there are 2 options : go to the UTC Johor at Galeria Kotaraya or the main immigration office in Kempas, Johor.

As Sunday is now a working day for the public sector in Johor, it smoothens the whole process and saves your annual leave.

Galeria Kotaraya - How to get there ?
Galeria Kotaraya is situated at Jalan Trus, about 10 minutes walk from City Square. Operating hours is from 8.30am - 5.30pm, except public holiday.

Kempas - How to get there ?
After you clear the immigration and leave the CIQ complex (Custom & Immigration Quarantine Complex, Bangunan Sultan Iskandar), proceed to the adjacent JB Sentral which is situated in between the CIQ and City Square.

Go to the taxi stand at JB Sentral itself (which is more regulated) and get a cab direct to the Kempas main immigration office. The journey takes about 25 minutes and taxi fare is ranging from RM30–RM 40 single way, depending on the type of taxi, either red cab or blue cab.

Try to reach early in order to get the new passport within 1 hour. During the waiting window, you can have your breakfast at a mamak outlet near the entrance.

My experience :
I woke up at 5am, reached Woodland checkpoint at 6.10am, reached JB Sentral at 6.25am, and finally at Kempas just before 7am.

The counter which issues queue number opened at 7.30am and I got #0007. Thereafter, went to level 3 which opened at 8am, waited for my turn, paid the fees and told to come back at 9am for collection. During waiting window, I went for my breakfast and collected the brand new passport just before 9am. Took a taxi from a taxi stand beside the main entrance, and headed back to CIQ.
