The Toyota Vellfire is less expensive than the Toyota Alphard.
The standard price of a 2.5 Toyota Vellfire is 3,838,000 Baht, while the Toyota Alphard can cost up to 5,509,000 Baht.
The main feature that causes the price difference between the Toyota Alphard and Toyota Vellfire in Thailand is its vehicle transmission. The 3.5 VIP Toyota Alphard has 8 speeds with direct shift, while the 2.5 HV Alphard has E-CVT. On the other hand, the 2.5 Vellfire has a CVT with sequential shift.
Also, the Vellfire is only available up to the second generation, while the Alphard is already on its third generation.
Yet, both cars have all the other same important features.

2. Sleeker and Sportier Design
The Toyota Alphard is marketed as having an elegant and sophisticated design, while the Vellfire emphasises strength and a strong individuality.
Distinct horizontal grille: The Toyota Vellfire has a front horizontal grilled design that is sleeker compared to the Toyota Alphard.
Tail lights with transparent finishes: The Toyota Vellfire comes with a fully transparent tail light finish, compared to the Alphard’s red finish.
Colours: The exterior sportier colours available for the Toyota Vellfire in Thailand include White Pearl CS (070), Steel Blonde Metallic (4X1), Black (202), and Burning Black CS GF (222).
Black interior: Spills and stains will not show up on the Vellfire’s full black leather upholstered seats, so the car can always maintain its distinct sporty look.
Length: Parking and turning in tight corners is much easier as the Toyota Vellfire’s length is 10mm slimmer than the Toyota Alphard.
