Hooters, Singapore

Went to Hooters, Singapore last weekend to catch a live football match between Arsenal FC and Liverpool FC.

Good ambiance inside and outside the outlet and its waitresses are one of the attracting factors

But most of the waitresses are in their late 20s or early 30s

Its pasta is good

Curly fries so so ..

Should try its famous chicken wings next time ..

Managed to take a photo with a friendly waitress, and it made my day, Liverpool FC won and the dinner was good.

Chijmes, Singapore

Chijmes is a unique place in Singapore whereby F&B outlets are set up inside a church compound, maybe I should say a previous church.

It's situated at Victoria Street, near City Hall.

A very nice alfresco dining area

Its garden.

Surprisingly there are many tourists and locals at the compound.

Thanks to a FB friend who pointed me to this place and thanks to Google Map for the navigation :)

Diehard Liverpool FC fans like to gather at Harry's, Chijmes for a live telecast match. It was packed inside Chijmes. Too bad can't share with you the photo inside Harry's right now as I was new and felt intimidated to take a photo .. hehee ...

Oosters Belgian Brasserie

Went to a Belgian restaurant the other day. The outlet is called Oosters Belgian Brasserie, located at Far East Square, Church Street.

Its warm alfresco dining and drinking area

Ordered one type of Leffe and it's super good and super smooth

It serves many types of mussels with 500g per serving. I chose Moules Pedas - mussels with spicy tomato sauce.

In the menu, there's a message saying "Keep the shell of the first mussel you eat, you should use this shell as a pincher to pluck the rest of the mussels. So please, no knives and forks !"

Accompanied by Belgian frites (chips), mayonnaise and dipping sauces

The dinner gave me lasting experiences, will drop by again with somebody :)

Bavarian Bierhaus @ The Curve

Went to Bavarian Bierhaus at The Curve, Damansara, the other day with a few friends.

The outlet has nice setting with German touches

Ordered some popular German wheat beers, and the glasses came with nice curves ..

Truly fresh salad

The pork knuckle, a must at any German restaurant. Tastes original with little seasoning

Another must try : the sausages platter, you need a big stomach for all these.
