Malaysian market sentiment boosted by equity liberalisation

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian stocks rose in-line with a regional market rally yesterday but were also boosted by feel-good sentiment after the Prime Minister announced the removal of 30% bumiputra equity requirement for 27 services sub-sector on Wednesday.

The benchmark KLCI ended the day more than 1% higher or 10.06 points to 978.64 led by Genting Bhd up 20 sen to RM4.72, Malayan Banking Bhd up 8 sen to RM4.40, Axiata Group Bhd up 4 sen to RM2.02 and Sime Darby Bhd gaining 5 sen to RM6.45.

A friend of mine told me that the new Honda City looks like a sub-module of Transformers robotic series.

But to me, it's like a type of fierce dog species with its sparkling teeth, waiting to pounce at any point of time.

This is called home - Seri Tanjung Pinang

There is one nice housing project behind Island Plaza called Seri Tanjung Pinang. I discovered the real charm of this area a few weeks ago when I attended a house warming bbq.

The architecture design of its 2.5 storey terrace houses is really magnificent, it's like a combination of contemporary + classical fine art.

On the other side of the road, there are 2 types of Semi-D houses.

Personally I don't like the build-up below, it looks too rigid.

But this one gives me more umphhhhh ...

I will come home every single day if I own this kind of property. The 3rd level will surely be my master bedroom, which promises ample of privacy and ecstasy ..

1st Anniversary

Today is my official 1st year annivarsary as a blogger.

Over the past 1 year, I have accumulated :
1) better writing expression skill
2) extra knowledge which is only make possible thru blogging
3) attributes related to creativity and criticalness
4) photo taking skill
5) etc.

Moving forward, I wish to hit at least 100 site impression a day with your continued support.

3 by-elections on Apr 7

Lately, we are seeing drama after drama in the political scene of Malaysia.
In the latest development, 3 by-elections are coming up next Tue.


My own prediction for the outcome :
1) Bukit Selambau --> Barisan Nasional
2) Bukit Gantang --> Pakatan Rakyat
3) Batang Ai --> Pakatan Rakyat

I will make a final assessment by this Sunday, but I still believe that BN will win at least one of the battles.
