Breathtaking E&O Hotel waterfront

It's safe to stay at E&O Hotel, Penang because it has many cannons along its waterfront :)

Beautiful tropical garden with coconut trees dancing with the wind

Coconut might fall onto your head if you are not careful enough

In the nutshell, it's really a first class spot in Penang for total relaxation

Partial photo shots of E&O Hotel buffet lunch

I went to E&O Hotel for its buffet lunch not long ago. It's considered as a signature hotel in Penang. I feel honoured for being able to be there.

The grilled fish looks good but I missed the chance to taste one, it was snapped up so quick while I was busy taking photos

To my surprise, they also serve dim sum, and some colorful pao, mostly a-cup

At the far end station, sashimi, lobster, mussel are lining up for the patrons

To me, the best serving is the Char Koay Teow with zero pork oil, 2 thumbs up to them !!

But if i were to give rating to the overall food quality, i would probably give 6 out of 10, only 4 points if without the Char Koay Teow (:

Crabs and Scallops

I went for a buffet lunch at E&O Hotel, Penang
Managed to take a photo with a very friendly chef, and I imitated his hand sign

Out of all the things, this small platter of small crabs caught my attention

It's this small

about the size of a thumb

It's scallop also tiny

thin and tiny

No where near these scallops that i tried in other place many months ago.
Maybe tropical scallops tend to get hydrated more easily compared to 4 seasons countries.

Lost World of Tambun, Ipoh

There is a place called Lost World in Tambun, Ipoh, which is accessible using the North South Highway. It's an ideal place for a one day breakaway from city life.

At this point of time, Christmas decorations are queueing up to welcome you

Especially Santa

The main entrance of Lost World

Setting up nicely in a small valley of marble hills, perfectly blended into its surrounding nature
Some cats are lining up anticipating for your arrival
In the mean time, some real BIG cats awaiting your presence inside the park
Inside Lost World Tambun, there are wet park, amusement park, twin waterfall sandy beach, natural hot springs, petting zoo, and tiger valley.
Due to dried camera battery after snapping food outlet photos inside Ipoh city, I can't share with you the detailed stuffs inside Lost World. But more info can be found using this link http://www.sunway.com.my/lostworldoftambun/main.asp
